      • Behind Bars poster design - For this I used two stills captured from DV footage. I split the guitar store image into two layers, one black and white and one with the colors over-saturated, which I then blended back together. I removed the background from the image of the woman, and then blended it with the first, lining it up with one of the guitars, to give the impression that the guitar is almost part of her body, and her hands seem to be placed on the guitar's neck.

Jared Voss began his career in the entertainment industry as a guitarist in several Boston and New York City bands. Feeling creatively stifled, he then pursued a solo career as a singer/songwriter, with songs featured on MP3.com and RollingStone.com (and somehow these tunes have made their way overseas, popping up on several European and Asian sites). At the same time, Jared was pursuing an acting career, starring in numerous New York City and regional theatrical productions, independent films, and national commercials. And then...yup, still not enough. While on the set of an indie film, he watched the director at work and realized that he could write and direct his own movies--and maybe even do it better.
